The story behind:  As stated in my previous entries this collection started in 2011 as a relief from your usual car collection. Snake Speeder is one of those models where you get the feeling Hot Wheels is going a little bit animalistic with their designs, then again it wouldnt be the first time. 

A bullet train indeed doesnt look like a snake

The looks:  As stated Snake Speeder looks like an actual snake, but dont let its looks fools you! Its speed as as mighty as its glare!; sorry for the pun, in reality there was a Rapid Transit track which I never got but in it you had the chance of getting one of the trains, in this case it was this model. 

When I started this collection I didnt know how far it would go in terms of timings to get them all, so after a while of looking in every store available for the track and not finding it I had to decide to buy this model.This one represents one of those bullet trains so famous in Europe and in Japan. The roof has this scaly feeling which I appreciate considering the accuracy and the portrayal of the name in question.

The story behind:  As previous stated in my 2 reviews concerning the Hot Wheels Rapid Transit lines, these toys were meant as an alternative or a break from the usual cars and haulin trucks usually featured. Either by faith or because of Hot Wheels cutting costs 2014 has seen a decline on them.  Luckily I was able to grab a few before they wind up down so here is my second review on them.

Throught the mountains 

The looks:  Rocky Mountain Rail is one of them , they came in 2 colors, one was flare orange and the one I owe is dark green with its bottom colored in orange. This model represents those huge diesel trains with a passenger wagon. Of course being Hot Wheels it means that some features were exagerated , such as the back of it where it has 4 pipes on each side making it look a bit like a Diesel machine on steroids.

Overall this model wont dissapoint you at all, it is well detailed, the weight overall is good and it combines die cast and plastic very well and it is a very solid toy to play with.  As previously mentioned through the mountain passage this marvelous machine takes us where no car can go!

Hot Wheels Rapid Transit Collection 2013

The 7s

After the long hiatus (only the one week and half of holidays) I found out that Hot wheels was doing trains! Yes hot wheels trains, albeit I realized that they were in the market long time before it wasn't till now that they cached my attention.

 I started cautious with 2 models (one of em reviewed here) and then from there I expanded into having almost the complete line. While I regret not having the chance of buying them before (damn you Power Rangers HW line) I am very pleased with the ones I have right now to the point of calling myself a fan of it. 

Noses

The designs vary from your usual hot wheel extravaganza to something more down to earth (so to speak) and the colors, well, those also vary according to the model/version/luck you have in getting them. The line started in 2011 and while some pages say they might be discontinued I see no signs of this to be true, nevertheless with hot wheels you never know, they just pull the plug without saying a thing (that's why I have raced to get them all nowadays). 

So without further notice, Ill introduce you to my seven steamed rapid transit hot wheels collection!

Hot Wheels Oil

The story behind: The main feature of this line are  trains, trolleys, buses, and trucks, each consisting of an engine and matching car with small "claws" on the front and back so that they may be attached to one another.

The looks: Since the one I got is a re edition of the original  mine is red with blue striping & "68" logo on both engine & car, "W4423" & HW logo on engine, "Hot Wheels Oil" on car. With this one I started collecting this editions which I must admit I am a big fan. The idea of hot wheels and trains is a very effective one. The small claws are able to connect with different models of the same line giving you the chance of making your own trains.
