11 Dodge Charger R/T

It is a solid die cast with extensive real features

11 Dodge Charger R/T

Name: 11 Dodge Charger R/T
Debut series: 2011 New Models
Produced year: 2011
Designed: Brendon Vetuskey

The Aurora Fire Dept. Model
The story behind: The '11 Dodge Charger R/T was a Hot Wheels casting designed by Brendon Vetuskey. The actual vehicle was first shown at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. Originally  It features a completely new body with the most striking changes being the redesigned fascia and hood section, modified "racetrack" vintage-style taillights and a new dashboard.

Other feature which is present is that it also takes some styling cues from the 1968-1970 models. Chrome aluminum wheels became standard equipment over plastic hubcaps. The new 3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine replaces the 2.7L V6 Engine as well as the 3.5L High-Output V6 Engine. It is built alongside the 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 and 300C.

Engines are available with both the 5-speed and 8-speed automatic transmissions.

The looks:  I like the sincere effort Hot Wheels did for this diecast, it is actually a very close approach to the real vehicle. The body is die cast which gives it a nice weight and my paintjob is from the 2011 model which means it has this "Aurora Fire Dept"  on both sides along with the beautiful cherry red color. Other feature is the inside, yes it has the dashboard, steering wheel and even the speed stick is there present. The 11 Dodge Charger R/T is a solid model which you cant let it pass, it is a solid die cast with extensive real features that most models dont have.
