2011 IndyCar Oval Course Race Car

More like a tribute than anything else

2011 IndyCar Oval Course Race Car
Name: 2011 IndyCar Oval Course Race Car
Debut series: 2012 New Models
Produced year: 2012
Designed: -

The story behind: The 2011 IndyCar Oval Course Race Car, is based on the design of a standard IndyCar race car used in the 2011 IndyCar season. A special edition of the car was produced at the end of the 2011 IndyCar season. It featured Dan Wheldon's paint scheme. Dan Wheldon, was a IndyCar driver that competed in the 2011 season but was killed on lap ten of the IndyCar season finale.

The looks: If Arrow Dynamic is any try from Hot Wheels to bring few new ideas into reality then 2011 IndyCar Oval Course Race Car is an eye candy taken from 1:1 scale to 1:32. This model was produced the same year Dan Wheldon death which is very omnious and scary but either by faith or by pure luck it also worked as a tribute for one of the greatest racers (lets not forget he was also featured in the series Hot Wheels Battleforce 5).

Driver included

Speaking about the model it is a nice die cast original IndyCar with all the features you would expect, it even contains a plastic driver! The model itself is heavy considering the bodyframe of it. There is nothing absolutely wrong with this one but there isnt also something very good which leaves me with a meh. More like a tribute than anything else 2011 IndyCar Oval Course Race Car is an addition to your racing Hot Wheels collection.

P.S. As stated there is a Dan Wheldon car paint scheme which I dont owe, if you find one and you would like to send it across for me, I would be delighted :D.

Rating: ***

An overall heavy die cast considering the dimensions of the car.
